For infants under two years old, our clinic offers the best possible service for boys and their accompanying families.

For your son's treatment, we recommend the PlastiBell® as the most clinically advanced and least painful method of circumcision.

About the PlastiBell®

We use a local anaesthetic for this procedure. The PlastiBell® is placed between the foreskin and glans of the penis. The excess skin is removed and the PlastiBell® is tied off. No stitching or dressing is necessary. After three to ten days, the PlastiBell® becomes detached, leaving a clean healed cut at the tie-line.

Benefits of PlastiBell®

The operation itself normally takes about fifteen minutes, with boys normally ready to leave The Circumcision Centre in around one hour. The PlastiBell® procedure is virtually pain-free because it is carried out under local anaesthetic and needs no stitching, dressing and stitch removal, which is normally needed by other methods of circumcision.

After-care is usually limited to salt water bathing. Post-operation trauma is minimal, and over 95% of patients have no need for a return visit to The Circumcision Centre after the procedure.
